One of Nigeria's best

Abami Eda

An acquantance met me at the office about a month ago at the Square Mile, we wanted someplace to talk and went to the nearest pub, a very typical all white pub but guess who was playing on - Fela Kuti. I felt so so proud.

Eshu Odara - Original Sin

Ogun - God of Thunder

Ogun onire oko mi...

Obatala - Santeria

These Obatala woshippers remind me of Kegite Clubs back in Naija Schools, While the Yorubas are trying to forget about these traditional practices, some white skin are gloryfying it. Good luck to them. My next vacation must surely be in Cuba.

----------------

An Orisha, also spelled Orisa and Orixa, is a spirit that reflects one of the manifestations of Olodumare (God) in the Yoruba spiritual or religious system. This religion has found its way throughout the world and is now expressed in several varieties which include Anago, Oyotunji, Candomblé and Lucumí/Santería. These varieties or spiritual lineages as they are called are practiced throughout areas of Brazil, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, Mexico and Venezuela. As interest in African indigenous religions (spiritual systems) grows, Orisa communities and lineages can be found in parts of Europe and Asia as well. While estimates vary, there could be more than 100 million adherents of this spiritual tradition worldwide.

Brighton's Brights Skies

A shot of Brigton's bright skies, can you see the eye formed in the cloud? It's so easy and obvious that you will feel stupid if you cant find it.

Brighton's City Center

A view of Brighton's city center, I attended a training in Brighton on July 2006 and my wife came along from London. While I was in class, she was lazing by the pool and took few picture, pity she forgot the beautiful beach.

Eye Queue

Another view from inside the London Eye. Notice people queing up to ride the eye.

Shots on the Eye

My wife and I took this shot of London's aerial view while we were riding on the London Eye on the 8th of July 2006.

Can see the Clock Tower (Big Ben) to the right of the picture, towering above the Palace of Westminster.

The tower was raised as a part of design of a new palace, after the old Palace of Westminster was destroyed by fire on the night of October 16, 1834. The tower is designed in the Victorian Gothic style, and is 96.3 metres (316 feet) high.

Big Ben is a focus of New Year celebrations in England, with radio and TV stations tuning to its chimes to welcome the start of the year. Similarly, on Remembrance Day, the chimes of Big Ben are broadcast to mark the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month and the start of two minutes' silence.
